Hi, I’m Jana, a Berlin-based creative mind and Senior PR. My professional expertise is built on over 12 years of experience in the fashion, lifestyle, and urban outdoor industries, where I have helped shape the communications landscape. With deep roots in traditional craftsmanship and design, I bring a unique blend of concepts, storytelling, and visual communication to my work, covering all the essential areas that form the foundation of a successful brand and its products.

 

Bringing creativity to life through my craftsmanship has been one of my greatest passions early on. Ever since I got my first own sewing machine at the age of five and my father later gave me access to his workshop, I have been excited about the endless possibilities of being able to make (almost) anything with some skills.

 

After finishing my education as a women’s tailor in 2006, I moved to Berlin to study fashion design. Having graduated in 2009, I became part of the editorial team of the independent Lifestyle & Urban Culture magazine Style and the Family Tunes before starting at the Berlin-based communication and marketing agency BOLD.

 

My wealth of experience taught me the full process from the beginning of shaping an idea, creating a proper design, producing a high-quality product, and successfully bringing it to the market.

 

Since 2017, I have been working as a freelance PR consultant for brands in the fashion and urban lifestyle segment. Inspired by a love of nature, sport and urban culture, my creative work is imbued with a special energy. In recent years, my passion for cycling, climbing and spending time in nature has led me to expand my PR focus further into an urban outdoor segment.
